I've tried to hack gold after buying a 5€ pack and it didn't work. The gold seems to update serverside to WB or Monolith's servers, which makes hacking it practically impossible to my knowledge. It's the chests themselves that should be server side. But if you have the money, then that doesn't matter. :p
Unless you find the code that pings the server to say you've earned gold and activate it manually.
