Options Required: Drop Rate Editing and/or Give Item options

Other Info: I'm just looking to bypass some rather pesky/uncooperative grinding, and yes I fully realize the irony of that. Really my aim is to just see what the code for this sort of thing would look like so I might be able to do it myself/update the table for future versions.
I'm sure this won't be simple, but I couldn't find anything after casually searching over the past few days, so I'm hoping someone here has enough knowledge and interest to give it a shot.
