I can hack the ASCII version no problem during character creation, but can't seem to do it for the SDL version. I was wondering if someone could find the stat/skill points for character creation.

Do you just want infinite stat / skill points ? It's a 2 byte value.

Edit: Here ya go.

At the Advanced character Creation window, just turn the cheats on and click until you get bored adding stats.

Unlimited Stat & Ability Points

Dammit. I figured out why I was having no luck. My "all" search got reset when I updated CE. I had it set before to actually search all, but now it's not looking at anything lower than 4 bytes. When I just selected 2 bytes, I found it instantly.

Okay, so here's why I'm stumped. I got the values during character creation.

Now, in game, to improve skills you need to use XP earned. I can find a value for it, but changing it doesn't do anything. Searching comes up with 1, 2 and 4 byte results. But I'm not sure how to give myself more.

Yeah, I noticed that, and couldn't figure that one out myself. Setting a value does nothing. It may be possible to find where your XP increases (from attacking enemies) and pushing a higher figure in that way. It's not perfect, but it's an option
