CE works well for editing item values, 4 bytes, just don't set the number too high or you'll mess up your save and have to start over. There's no way to clean your inventory if you have too many items. Just getting a secondary stack of some items, like cigarettes, seems to mess things up.

Editing my inventory seems to cause it to lock up, get a inventory full message when trying to pick up scrap or craft lockpicks.

Unfortunately this locks up campaign progression.

Could be something with my PC too, I think I may have messed up earlier and it stayed in memory somehow.

Items stack to 999 [...] set an item stack to 99,999.

This is the petty CH mentality they use to emphasize visibility of trainer options; to make their trainer more appealing to the user eye; their way of doing marketing. While at the same time causing problems for users with this idiotic 999 all over the place T_T Not to mention the use of hyperbolae: super, uber, ultra, etc. Plain retarded and not catchy anymore since 10-20 years ago. But that's their level...
