[SOLVED] Relic Hunters Zero

Post by unkn0wn_u5er »

I would really love a Relic Hunters Zero Cheat Table :) I tried doing it myself and got to the point of having unlimited HP, however I had to search a specific number again each floor and for some reason I was killed though I had full HP :( Don't know why a free to play and Open Source game is that hard to cheat on :D Anyways, back to my question, where can I find a CT or could anybody create one please? I did find this one viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1537 but it's outdated (last update 2015) and didn't work for me at all :(

OK, I took a look at this, and well, I couldn't update the table. I understand what is going on, but I can't workout a stable way of updating the table.

This is the entry point:

Code: Select all

"RelicHuntersZero.exe"+109E4F:
jmp newmem
It's no longer current, and well, that's the easy part to figure out.

The 'jmp newmem' ends up here:

Code: Select all

cmp [edi+10],00018723
je check
cmp [edi+10],000187CD
je health
cmp [edi+10],00018714
je stars
jmp originalcode
Essentially the code checks [edi+10], where 'edi' holds an address which changes rather rapidly in this (and most) games. So the cmp is a compare, and it tells CE to compare the base address stored in 'edi' with an additional offset of 10 against the hexadecimal number '00018723', then 'je' is jump equals to the 'check' label / code section.

Now that's where things fall apart. In order to update the table, someone (and I looked) needs to find a way to distinguish the ammo, health and stars against the dozens of other items running through the same routines as this one does. I spent a bit of time trolling through the registers, and wasn't successful. It has to be possible, as the game keeps track of it, but I'm just not good enough.

However, in the following directory, there is a save file. Change [username] to your username on the PC.

Code: Select all

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\RelicHuntersZero
The save file has lots of 'stuff' you can change.

Code: Select all

Ammo Light1="0.000000"
Ammo Medium1="268.000000"
Ammo Heavy1="32.000000"
Grenades1="0.000000"
Ammo1Player1="12.000000"
Weapon2Player1="67.000000"
Health1="140.000000"
Overshield1="0.000000"
UnlockEndless="0.000000"
UnlockPinky="1.000000"
UnlockRaff="0.000000"
UnlockBiu="0.000000"
UnlockPunny="0.000000"
UnlockAss="0.000000"
UnlockRider="0.000000"
statTotalBounty="3375.000000"
You won't get unlimited HP, but you may well be able to up it to much higher values each level, etc. See how you go with that.

I tried changing some values. For example Health1, Overshield1 in Characters and HasPurchasedAnything in Temp. First thing I found out is the game updating these stats each new room you enter. Second thing is you can't change it so the game uses these values. I changed Health1 to 400 and entered the next room, however on the next room the value was the original one again, in my case 40. Same for Overshield1 and HasPurchasedAnything and so on. I was able to change the stats, though it didn't help. So I cannot cheat with this. I think this date is just for the game to keep track of what you do and what preferences you have in the options. The original data is saved somewhere else though. So thank you for helping me figure this out, but I still cannot cheat. As for the other stuff you said about Cheat Engine I'm not experienced enough to find a solution too :D Still, thank you for your time, I appreciate it
