So after a week or so my game will login then freeze, the BGM still plays.( on PC )
I know after a certain time frame of AFK it usually happens like a ticking time bomb.
Ive never altered any achievements as well, but i know there was something to change that time over and over. ( posted chng below ) which helped.
On mobile the game just closes when this error occurs. On pc as mentioned above is what I run into.
after leaving the game open with BGM playing and the screen frozen, I can close the game ( assuming I catch auto save ) and re open perfectly fine along side mobile working too.

Anyone know a simple way to fix this error from happening or will I just be in an endless cycle of how I usually fix it above. Thank you for any help and time. Sorry for the long post.

I was having this issue yesterday. It was due to an error when lava pushed the update. it roughly affected 80% of the players on Steam / Web.

If you're using steam, make sure you're up to date. As lava pushed about 3 hotfixes yesterday. Web Version was updated along Steam Version.

Mobile for Android should be working with 0 problems as well after updating.

For potential fixes see below as some players have reported these as a solution.

1 of the fixes is to force a new cloud save. So play for a few minutes, cloudsave, then select another character. Wait to see 1/2 minutes on the character you forced the cloud save on. Then relaunch.

If you are still having problems. Navigate to your %AppData% -> Roaming and Delete the "legends-of-idleon" folder. This will get you into the games tutorial where you can login again. You should be able to access your characters and move about the world. Make sure to do a force cloud save and see if your Tome is working correctly. I.E. when you open it, it should have a background image etc. if it doesn't then that means you're not on the correct Update for Steam.

Verify game files and it should pull the update or you can also restart steam to see if there was a new update.

FYI my game is working no problem after his 3rd patch from yesterday and I had the issue too. I am also running on the current Steam Version mentioned above

hey, just found it and wow. more than 300 pages... I was wondering if there was way to get pets companion, or maybe gem shop things, without getting shadowbanned? is there a safe way to do that?

Like Green Gem companions? no impossible that's all server side. But you can use w1 pets and use 'em all

You can "unlock" the pets and get all the perks, but only until you close the game. You can use 'wide mtx' to unlock the gem shop, and have everything cost 0 blue gems

after i used the w6 update my chrome debug wont open, it just closes the whole game

You need to change the path to chrome in config.js and/or config.custom.example.js to where you have chrome installed on your pc

i checked both of them and the pathing is good, any other ideas

update: after some trial and error with the new and old file
theres something in the config.js file thats causing the crash, its not the pathing cus thats identical to the working files.
will test more
