As far as i know there is no hotkey for Compact mode by default,
Unless write a script and place it inside the CE Autorun folder,
Then CE executes script by deafult and interact by hotkeys.

Yeah, there are some "hidden" main form shortcut keys; another is Ctrl+Alt+A for a new Auto Assembler window, and Ctrl+Alt+Shift+L for the Lua Engine window. You might ask at the [Link].

There is no compact mode in the release build of ce. But by adding extensions to ce's autorun folder it can be added, including versions with hotkeys for compact mode
