It does raise your chance by almost 100%, it works perfectly in my opinion, i'm playing this game right now and already reach Ice Cavern.

More like the cheats that are already there are enough. They were for me I can't disagree with you there actually, I'm in chapter 6 and the enemy seems can't keep up with my party even when I just use Inf. Item cheat and Nightmare Difficulty on 1st gameplay, those Super Rare Quartz really help a lo...

Sorry, but I'm not playing the game. What I would do is use Infinite Items and remove bad status effects from your party. with an item For the enemy, you will have to turn the code off or use other options to kill the enemy faster regardless.
