At some point I saw, that the tables in cheatengine forums got taken down and I needed a Disgaea 2 Table. I never found one at that point in time.

Then some months later I found fearlessrevolution on google, yay.

You put in some address, duh^^ :P
Look in the code for some pointer that is on a higher level than the value (e.g. health) you're trying to find.

bp is just the lower 2 bytes of ebp, so in that case 6B->"k".

You shouldn't bother with these low level string duplication functions, try setting a breakpoint on data write and from there find the calling function/trace back the pointer/create one with aob.

I wouldn't push the flags to the stack here, in 99.999999% of the cases you do an instruction and use the flags immediately afterwards, after that they become obsolete, so no need to preserve them. Actually, I think he wants a button that gives him, say, 5 ability points to spend. The table already has an exp increase and ability freeze function. For clarification, before your first line, does [rax+04] contains the new xp value?
You say this is where the game writes new xp, but it gets written into [rbx+04]?
So are rax and rbx the same before your first line?
And is [r14] the new xp, which was just calculated?

It's already up-to-date, use the table on the bottom of page 2.

On a side note, I played around with the levels and wins some days ago and was able to permanently keep them now. I don't know how.
