Re: Need help calling an imported function from within the DLL.

For example purposes only: If you're loading a dll dynamically and calling something from it, the function you're calling will have no entry in your module's IAT. It will however be present in its own DLL's EAT. Edit: I'm not sure, but what about aob (inside your code) to find the address/pointer, r...

Re: Need help calling an imported function from within the DLL.

.....I'm guessing the IAT also has a location of a bunch of places in memory ..... It's just abusing GetProcAddress, which if I could call that from User32, I'd just call GetKeyState instead and there'd be no problem. Still learning, but what you need is EAT instead of IAT. Sorry for the bad explan...

This:

Code: Select all

fild [eax+10]
fstp st(0)
fstp [eax+10]
Is not the same as this:

Code: Select all

fild [eax+10]
fstp st(0)

fild [eax+10]
fstp st(0)
means nothing
so...fstp [eax+10] is only valid/usable

The issue was how to produce a byte pointer. You need to specify a byte pointer if that's what it is.
NVM.
Btw the issue is bad/not working (as expected) script.

Capish? Edit: Can you tell me the result of t...

in 32 bit mode becomes

mov dword ptr [esi+00000358],00000000
Asm is smart enough to undesrstand the instructions.
You don't need this: dword ptr,byte ptr etc.....

Can you help me :?: :?: :?:
00000000=32 bit
0000000000000000=64 bit
Am i right?

Re: Problem with a script, cannot find a correct function in Memory View, cheat engine

Also these all look like byte pointer instructions so your replacement instruction should likely reference a byte pointer. Yeah indeed. "mov byt ptr [esi+00000358],00" = "mov [esi+00000358],0" Use brain.exe. Don't try to help if you can not. @marek1957 1: You must check if the opcode you found is u...
