Re: Problem with a script, cannot find a correct function in Memory View, cheat engine

If you are attached to a 32bit process then use some common sense and comment the qword instruction. [ENABLE] alloc(BytPtrNotSpecified,500) registersymbol(BytPtrNotSpecified) BytPtrNotSpecified: mov [esi+00000358],0 mov byte ptr [esi+00000358],0 mov word ptr [esi+00000358],0 mov dword ptr [esi+00000...

Re: Problem with a script, cannot find a correct function in Memory View, cheat engine

The issue was how to produce a byte pointer. You need to specify a byte pointer if that's what it is.

Re: Problem with a script, cannot find a correct function in Memory View, cheat engine

in 32 bit mode becomes mov dword ptr [esi+00000358],00000000 Asm is smart enough to undesrstand the instructions. You don't need this: dword ptr, byte ptr etc..... Can you help me :?: :?: :?: 00000000=32 bit 0000000000000000=64 bit Am i right? Try this script for a visual of what happens. [ENABLE] a...

Re: Problem with a script, cannot find a correct function in Memory View, cheat engine

Also these all look like byte pointer instructions so your replacement instruction should likely reference a byte pointer. Yeah indeed. "mov byt ptr [esi+00000358],00" = "mov [esi+00000358],0" Use brain.exe. Don't try to help if you can not. Try to take your own advice instead of giving it to other...

Re: Problem with a script, cannot find a correct function in Memory View, cheat engine

SBRYZL, can you help me to separate such things what I mentioned in my first post from my script? Because I don't have any idea how to do that.. I don't know what's working for you and what's not and I don't have the game. If using a byte pointer doesn't fix it then it's probably a shared opcode as...

Also these all look like byte pointer instructions so your replacement instruction should likely reference a byte pointer. newmem2: originalcode2: mov byt ptr [esi+00000358],00 And since these instructions being replaced are compares are you certain the address is not accessed between the time the g...

GTA 4 has a fairly strong anti-cheat....
Yeah Xlive is not that strong.
How to defeat xlive anti-cheat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42cIzOZPogQ
GTA4 is no where near as simple as Lost Planet. Try it before you talk about it.

Re: X3: Albion Prelude

Hey sbryzl, AP was updated to 3.3 over the holidays, would you be able to update your trainer to that? As it doesn't seem to work for me (Steam retail version). My older versions still work but I have a newer version here. http://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?p=27800 It uses a different inje...

Re: GTA IV

GTA 4 has a fairly strong anti-cheat but you can use the xLiveLess modification which will make it offline and allow cheat engine to work. There are other methods of circumventing the anti-cheat but whatever the method it would be good to specify because that would likely have an effect on how the c...

Registering a variable as a symbol will not place it within allocated memory.

XCOM 2 World Timer and Instant Builder

This will display the world time and allow you to clear or build rooms in the Avenger instantly. Enable the main script and go to the world map to get the time, and enable the 2nd script to get the world time without going to the world map, then place the cursor over a room being built or cleared an...

Re: Where Can I find tutorial about making an EDIT BOX to Code Injection?

No but that is why i said just register it as a symbol and it will already be allocated under newmem. But at the end of the day doesn't really matter. Just registering it as a symbol will not place it under newmem. You have to place that label under the newmem label in the script in order to locate...

Re: Where Can I find tutorial about making an EDIT BOX to Code Injection?

. You can use another register or use the code suggested by Blayde above, though you shouldn't need to allocate 4 bytes for it as he's doing, just registering it as a symbol is fine. It is already allocated in newmem. It's not allocated under newmem in Blayde's script. No but that is why i said jus...

It's not allocated under newmem in Blayde's script.

Re: Where Can I find tutorial about making an EDIT BOX to Code Injection?

One of these is wrong. They should be the same.

Code: Select all

originalcode:
mov eax,[edi+18]
mov [esi+1C],eax

Code: Select all

"Asphalt8.exe"+870F3:
mov [esi+18],eax
mov eax,[edi+1C]
