FearLess Cheat Engine

I already did beat the game and am currently on WotD, just wanted to skip the repeat grind to WotN for stats and all that.

Any idea on how the difficulty unlocker works?

Tried changing difficulty directly (ie to 4 or 5, indicating WotW and WotN respectively) but I just keep getting crashes.
