This is HUGE news folks. Paul Polman gets the FearLess Award for being the first major CEO to say he will look beyond quarterly returns. Here is an exerpt from his recent interview with Adi Ignatius of HBR.
HBR: Your company has done away with quarterly reporting. Can you tell us about that decision?
PAUL POLMAN: We've created an environment for our business to be a little bit more longer time focused. We abolished quarterly profits. We don't give guidance anymore. We changed our compensation systems for the long term.
And a FearLess Award to concerned consumers out there too. Paul points to your expectations as one of the main reasons for Unilver's course correction. Check out the entire interview here. Drop a like on Unilever if you're feeling the love. Thanks for Peter Johnson for giving us the heads up on Paul.
