Video I have to express my enormous gratitude to the incredibly talented film makers at
m ss ng p eces. If you watch the film, their talent for telling stories comes through but I'd like to add some behind the scenes observations. In the days following our announcement to create COMMON, Ari from m ss ng p eces called me and said they wanted to do a film about it and enter it into the TED Ads Worth Spreading. I was skeptical. Partly because I don't know if COMMON needed a commercial but mostly because this was Tuesday and the closing of the TED contest was Monday. Not possible. By Thursday night Ari and Scott had arrived in Boulder with a plan and a rough script. I got to play creative director with the script a bit but with the film making they had a clear agenda and set out getting what they needed. In a day and a half we were done and they got on a plane back to NYC with 24 hours to finish the edit. The work speaks for itself, but when you realize it happened in 3 and a half days it's astounding. I've never seen anything like it. These guys are artists in the truest sense.

Alex,
When a pebble is thrown into the water, it creates two ripples. Everyone knows about the first ripple. It moves from the pebble to the edges. Mystics know about the second ripple. It moves from the edges back to the center. Always look for the second ripple!

Absolutely beautiful video!
This movement is a culmination of many of the movements that I have been invested in the past couple years. Let the ripples begin to move back towards the center!
Another beautiful soul that embodies the energy as that of Alex and COMMON. EnJoy!
