Many years ago, we saved up 300+ plastic water bottles. The boat lasted 5 years. Fun, water-tight. Most importantly, we stopped using plastic water bottles after realizing how fast we used these. The video got picked up around the globe, and inspired kids to make boats and hopefully reduce & reuse.
My point. Get the kids involved, and real, powerful change will occur.
