Bill Clinton should make his personal diet the subject of his keynote at his next Global Initiative. It stands to reason that if plant-based eating (sans added oils) is helping Number 42 reverse his own heart disease, that a strong dose of plant-based eating could begin to reverse three major health problems facing the developing world--obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. And there is a certain gal that could use some help, too: Mother Nature.
The human and environmental toll of our over consumption and over subsidization of meat is the elephant steak in the room. The loss of life, loss of productivity, and general suffering that flows from this government-endorsed paradigm should be examined. The cure for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and obesity is found on the end of our forks and Clinton knows it. His diet says it all. He didn't stop eating McDonald's because the taste of it changed.
Use your pulpit to share a solution that is already fully formed and just needs another cheerleader, Mr. President. One speech will do so much good. Tell your clean little secret and then you can get back to the rest of the world's problems. Thanks for all you do.

Mr. Clinton fully awakened with his health episode ~ embracing the realization that there is not any separation between the physical and the interdimensional (spiritual) aspects of our existence.
Difficulty is like a metaphorical grain of sand in an oyster, it is irritating. But through the process of self-evolution, the irritation becomes a pearl, and paradoxically, something of value emerges from that which was problematic. But we each must create this pearl of self-transformation for ourselves.
No government, religion, no master, no teacher or guru can do it for us.
The greatest (r)evolutionary catalyst, is through the heart, your heart!
Read Gary Taubes' Why We Get Fat. Or at least as a primer, watch the documentary Fat Head. You're 180 degrees from the truth.
The Drs advising Pres Clinton are the same Drs featured in the movie "Forks Over Knives." I am taking an online class with them via ecornell (highly recommended) at the moment on a topic that they avoid calling "vegan" but rather a "whole foods plant based diet." Thanks for posting this, WFPBD needs as much exposure as possible based on so many different levels: public health, the environment, and animal ethics.
